Tijuana, Mexico, Feb. 22 (Notimex).- The Bolshoi Ballet of Belarus presented its art in this city with “Sleeping Beauty”, in which 45 members of the company offered an evening full of dance at the Tijuana Cultural Center (Cecut, for its acronym in Spanish).
During the participation of the group in the agency of the Ministry of Culture in this border city, attendees enjoyed international dances with costumes made by hand by artisans from Belarus.
The performance marked the beginning of the tour that will be taken to various cities in Mexico, which will have the opportunity, like the Tijuana residents, to contemplate one of the most outstanding works in the world.
The fairy tale “La Bella Durmiente” captivated the Tijuana public, who attentively enjoyed the delicate movements performed by the ballet dancers of the play set in the Baroque of Europe.
The staging structured with a prologue and three acts, shed talent through the Bolshoi Ballet of Belarus, which belongs to the Bolshoi National Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus, founded in 1993.
Currently ballet is considered a symbol of the Belarusian art and a center of national culture, with colossal creative potential, a type of theater considered one of the main cultural places in Belarus, CEI and Europe.
Children, youth, adults and elderly enjoyed the ballet, which ended with prolonged applause and standing ovation from all attendees, in gratitude for giving an outstanding presentation.
